Intelligent Stair Lighting is available in three shades of white light (cool white, neutral white and warm white) and red, green or blue lights.

The light for each step is encased in a protective aluminium profile.  There is a choice of three profiles, each suitable for different installation sites:

  • Standard:  Standard fitting which can be mounted even on finished stairs.
  • Recessed: The profile is hidden in a cut under the step. A popular choice for customers who have not finished their stairs yet.
  • Angular: Mounted in the corner between the stair tread and the riser.

More details can be found in our Product information sheet here.

Profiles are available in six colours: black, white, gold, silver, pine effect and wenge effect.
The colour options should allow you to chose the one that fits the best in your stair environment.

A diffuser covers the light strip to provide an even glow along the length of your Intelligent Stair Lights.  There is a choice of two finishes,

  • transparent: lets all the light through
  • milk: diffuses the light. The milk finish can be more appropriate when the light is directed upwards, rather than on the stairs.

Intelligent Stair Lighting motion sensors are fitted at the top and bottom of the staircase and switch the lights on when someone passes them directly. They do not activate if you walk by the stairs, which can be the case with other sensors available on the market. We offer a choice of three motion sensors, suitable for different installations.

  • Flush mounted: These recessed sensors come with a back box and can be placed inside an electrical box
  • Surface mounted: These sensors are small and light and are stuck in place using double-sided adhesive tape or glue
  • Baluster mounted: These sensors are designed to fit within the baluster. They can be filled over as long as the hole in the centre remains uncovered
