The digital timer switches the stair light’s control unit on or off at selected times or days. This can prevent the stair lights from illuminating during the daytime when you have sufficient natural light.
Standard two-core cable for connecting the Intelligent Stair Lighting’s LED light strips to the controller.
Each stair light comes with 1m of cable so you would need to calculate the additional cable you need for each light by calculating the distance from the stair to the controller unit (taking into account the 1m but also make sure you allow some extra length)
Standard three-core cable for connecting the Intelligent Stair Lighting’s motion sensors to the controller unit.
The motion sensors come in a pair, one with 5m and the other with 15m of cable. To determine whether you need additional three-core cable, calculate the distance of each motion sensor from the controller.
These connectors allow the quick and easy connection of cables without the need for a screwdriver or soldering kit. You’ll need one connector clip for every cable extension. For example, if you need five lights and need an extension cable for each of them (remember, the lights come with 1m two-core cable by default), you will need five connector clips. If you also need cable extension for the motion sensors (motion sensors come in pairs, one with 5m and the other with 15m of three-core cable), you will need two more connector clips.
