Best video hosting solution

Hi, 

I am creating a branching scenario and interactive video. 

What is the best video hosting solution ?

Youtube is no good because of all the overlays that Youtube display on the video. 

Is Vimeo Pro better? (with no extra visuals on the video)

Is H5P hosting working ?

Hi Thomas,

I am not in the position to tell you which is better but I will highlight a few things that may help you decide:

  • Upload size/maximum alloted space - Your videos might be larger that what your hosting provider allows you to upload then go for Vimeo Pro. If you are using H5P.com it allows you to upload 2 GB of video at a time the maximum storage depends on your license.
  • Video usage - If you intend to only use the videos for H5P then hosting it yourself or in H5P.com will do.
  • Loading time - I live in the part of the world where internet is not as fast as I would like it to be. I've noticed that it takes a few seconds longer to load an Interactive Video that is hosted in Youtube I am not sure though with Vimeo as I haven't tried it yet.
