H5P better editor

Hi folks,

I have used H5P for my teaching materials and it's great. However it often takes a lot of time to setup/update content manually and prone to manual errors so do you guys know any way to do batch editing/importing content?

If there is some solution, that'd be awesome - please comment so we can try out!

Otherwise I'm thinking to create a better editor for H5P content or converting some H5P popular modules to react components so that it's easier to develop/manage content. If there are enough interests I'd love to work on a beta version and share with you all. Thanks

I agree. The editor could be far better. One of the first things I would do would be to create a side panel for editing the content properties - like in Google slides. Some other ideas:

  • Possibility to change/remove gap between list-items
  • Possibility to change fonts
  • Alignment tools
  • Subtitles for audio and video files (WebVTT file)

The basic idea seems good and I like how I can embed an audio file on presentation slides and also add a transcription as a comment. The basic visual appearance seems a bit muddy and hard to change. Also Moodle eats H5P-files quite well.
