Speak the words. Answers display as incorrect but solution is the same as answer.

Hi,

I am trying to use H5P to build a pronunciation database for my students. The vocabulary seems to work well, but when I input basic sentences, it says the answers are incorrect. I look at the solution and it is the exact same as the correct answer. 

I am using IOS on a macBook. The sentences are very simple, like, "I like basketball". The website address is:

Could someone please point me in the direction of a solution?

Hi Simon,

You have a lot of exercises on the website and it will take time to test them all. However from the few exercises that tried I only had trouble with 1 which is Ms., Speak the Words cannot recognize abbreviations with punctutations. So for this specific question I suggest that you change it to either miss or Ms without the period. Also I suggest that you place the specific items/URL that is not working so that we can check.

Hi BV,

Thank you so much for your help. I have made the abbreviation change you suggested and that works fine. The problems I am having are with the "Say the Sentences" section. I have attached the iframe code below. I'm not sure if that helps. 

I would greatly appreciate your help with it.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for the link. Same situation with the sentences. The content is not recognizing the punctuation marks, so even though students may be pronouncing the sentence correctly the cotnent doesn't know what punctuation marks to put at the end. This causes the cotnent to mark it as inccorect since the correct answer has a punctuation mark. Removing these should resolve the issue.
