Hi all!

Today a new content type was made public: Timekeeper. I do not know if and when it may be released on the H5P Hub, but there is a ticket for the H5P core team that you can track.

Best,

Oliver

Thanks for sharing. This will be fun for countdown to holidays or major events!

You're welcome! Thanks should go to the Hochschule Hannover as well for sponsoring the content type.

After selecting the Count down to data and time option in the Mode section, when we try to enter the date, it takes the format of Day, Month, Year automatically from the system, whereas the software accepts it as Month, Day, Year. It detects the date entered as 12.02.2012 (December 2, 2023). It does not allow manual date entry.

Hi!

I have to admit that I am not sure that I understand correctly what you expect.

The date editor widget determines the date format based on the language that the browser is set to (what language is that by the way?). Do you expect something different? I am not sure what you refer to by "the software" and "the system".

You say you are not allowed to manually change the date entry. Are you saying you cannot set the date at all (is so, how could you pick December 2)? If so, please provide information from the browser's development console.

Best,

Oliver

Hi!

You are using an outdated version of Timekeeper (1.0.3). Please update to the latest one (1.0.6) which also comes with an updated version of the editor widget where date handling was changed.

Best,

Oliver
