Cannot install 1.7.0 in WordPress 4.5.3

Hello

I cannot successfully create a new install on my WP site. I get this message:

  • The mbstring PHP extension is not loaded. H5P need this to function properly

I tried to upload the libraries zip file: official-h5p-release-20160623.h5p

and got the same

  • The mbstring PHP extension is not loaded. H5P need this to function properly

Please advise.

PHP is what makes H5P and WordPress tick. H5P requires more from PHP than WordPress, in this case the mbstring extension. If you have access to administer PHP there are several things you may try. If not you'll have to contact your hosting provider or switch hosting provider :/
