Is the maximum number of hotspots capped at 7?

Hi all, We have Totara (version 2.7) and have encountered an issue once we use more than 7 hotspots where we get red banners across the top with weird symbols on the left hand edge. Does anyone know what could cause this please? or is it capped at 7? Thanks

Hi cjf82,

Afaik there is limit to the number of hotspots. If there is it is not capped at 7 since I have some contents that have more than 7 hotspots. Having said this I am unable to reproduce the issue you mentioned above. In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hi BV52,

Thank you for your response (and apologies for posting in the wrong place). We have resolved this issue now and it was nothing to do with the H5P stuff - our server didn't have enough memory alocated or something.. the IT guys have sorted it. We got as far as asking on here as we were directed to do so by the firm who supply and suport our LMS after they couldn't work out what was casing the issue.
