dropdown list in editor always shows "-" entry

Hi,

I'm polishing my content type and what annoys me is that the editor always shows a "-" entry in my dropdown lists even if the corresponding semantics entry does specifies that it's not optional. Selecting nothing doesn't make sense in my case. You can see my semantics entry and what the editor shows in the screenshots attached.

Am I doing something wrong or is this the correct behavior?

Solved it myself (but I'll leave the post for future readers): I had to specify the group my entries are in as not optional.
