Interactive Video - Nav Hotspot or Crossroads and Drag and Drop

Hi Folks

I am loving H5P, it gives a lot of creative freedom.

I have an inteactive video with several drag and drop questions. They all work fine.

What I want to do is offer the student the option of returning to the beginning of a section if they are struggling with answers.

I also would like to bump them back to the beginning of a section if they have had more than X tries at the solutions.

I placed a nav hotspot on the same time as a drag and drop and it shows well when in edit mode.

When I save it all and run the video it does not appear.

Can these be synchorised to work together?

Tks

Hi Alan,

I'm glad you found what you needed. If you have further questions feel free to post in the forums.

I found part of the solution only and am stuck on what I would really like to do.

When a student gets to a quiz, I want to achieve the following:

1. Allow the student to click on a button to return to view the previous section again (ie this looks too hard, best review) For this I created a Nav Hotspot but it will not show in the foreground, the Drag and Drop rides over the top of it

2. If the student does not get all of the answers correct, force them to retry (can do this fine)

3. If the student has more than X retries, force them to review the previous section as they do not know enough and are just guessing.

I have tried a lot of options but can't seem to get wish list 1 and 3 working, and especially not combined with wish list 2

Any clues BV?

Alan

Hi Alan,

Sorry I misread your comment above.

1. To the the Nav spot to show above the Drag and Drop activity you need to change the "position" for both. To do this you need to click the Drag and Drop window to get the edit options (screenshot attached) and click "send to back". Do the same process for the Nav hotspot and "send to front". This is a simple content that shows this.

2. Good to know that you found this :-)

3. I'm afraid this is not possible since afaik H5P activities do not track the number of attempts. Although you can post a request in the Feature Request Forum.
