H5P.com analytics questions

Hello,

Great conference in Melbourne, really enjoyed it! I had a question as we have been using H5P.org in the library and will want to sign up for an individual account with a small number of users, maybe 3 or 4 when available with h5p.com. As we require it to be open to all and not within our Moodle site.

You mention better analytics and tracking, can you answer if it will have built in without having to worry about xAPI and LRS as this would could be problematic for our library. What analytics will be provided?

  • Which answers their learners selected
  • How often the 'next' button was pressed
  • The 'raw' score of the question
  • Whether a question was completed

Will the h5p.com account provide this already

Hi nickzog,

I'll try to answer your questions by providing you what data H5P.com provides using Question set as the test content:

  • Total score
  • Start time/end time
  • Time spent
  • The answers that were chosen
  • Includes all attempts made

There is no "completion" marker similar to what I've seen in Moodle. Also I'm not sure what you mean with the raw score can you please elaborate on this?

There are also plans in the next year to expand the reporting capability such as:

  • Group evaluation
  • Charts/graphs
  • Drill down data (i.e. which part of the video was watched, how many times the the next button was click, areas of images that was clicked etc.)

Please note that in the plan these improvements will only work if you are using an LRS separate from H5P.com.
