Course presentation

I am making a course presentation, and I have clicked the "Activate Active Surface Mode" button.
I was wondering if it is possible to undo this? Or to copy my whole Course presentation into a new one, where I can set the settings differently?

Thanks!!

Hi, unfortunately once Active Surface Mode is enabled it can't be disabled:

Creating a new Course Presentation seems to be the way to go, unfortunately

Hi,

In the course presentation library, I want to decrease the Keywords box width so we can have more space for adding / redaing content on the right box. How can I decrease keywords font size?

Hi! Currently, the only way of doing this would be through a CSS file that you would have to add through a custom plugin or theme. More details on how this can be done are available on the Visual Changes (CSS overrides) page.
Note that the changes will only be available for your page and not if the content is exported.

Let me know if run into any issues.

Thank you. Let me explore how the CSS Overrides can be done in Moodle!

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any easy way to do this in Moodle yet as allowing for easy modification of scripts have yet to be implemented: #12

The course presentation game shows the ability to select multiple images instead of looking at an image(s) and then selecting from choices below it, or them, for multilple images.  Is there a tutorial to do this? I'm using WordPress, and I've downloaded the Course Presentation. If so, please direct me to it. If it's a tutorial using Drupal, that's probably OK. I can figure it out from there. I've just not been able to find the tutorial.

Thank you!

Hi vernonrnh,

Welcome to H5P!

From how you described the content I would assume that you are talking about the second Course Presentaion sample. I'll try to break down how it was created as best as I can.

  1. The single most important setting in that content is the "Activate Surface Mode". This disables the ability for the user to skip/jump to any slides in the presentation.
  2. The main object in the activity is the "anchor" it is on top of the images. The anchors are the engine of the game. Depending on which option you choice the anchor will bring you to the next slide (for correct answers) or to the "wrong answer" slide which will only have one option to start over.

There isn't any difference in using H5P in Drupal or Wordpress. So setting up a content in either one would be same.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions feel free to post in the forum.
