Lost all content

Hi. I created 150+ activities with the H5P plugin. This morning by mistake I deleted the plugin from my wordpress but lost all the information when tried to install the plugin again. I have a back-up in my computer and tried to move the h5p folders (including the one containing all the activities I had created) but it didn't work. Right now I am freaking out because if I don't find a way to solve this problem, I'll have to start from scratch!

Can you please tell me where these activities usually get stored? Is there anything I'm doing wrong/not doing?

I would really appreciate any help you could provide me!

Hi Juan,

Sorry to hear this. I can imagine what you're feeling. The activities are stores in the database so if you're able to restore the database and the files you should be good. Also if you have download/export enabled the activities will also be stored in the .h5p files in your files folder so you can use those .h5p files to recreate your H5Ps.

Hi. I'm experiencing a similar problem. The H5P plugin tab isn't showing and I can't add any new content.

I tried uninstalling and installing the plugin again and I was able to add new content, but all my previous content was erased, so I had to restore my database to a previous date to get it back. So I'm back again experiencing the same issue.

Please help.

Hi Langcom,

The best way is to check what is causing the issue by looking at the following:

  1. Any browser console errors (ctrl+shit+J or F12)
  2. Any PHP errors

Hi,

I run debug but no PHP errors are shown. I somehow managed to make the H5P tab to show, and the list of h5p content (over 350 h5p items) is there, but most of them, new or old, are empty when I click on them. However, when I click edit, the content in edit mode is there, and when I add the shortcode to a post, the post is also empty.

So far, the only half solution I've found is unintalling H5P plugin and instaling it back again. but doing this deletes all my h5p content, which is too much work and time wasted. And since the most of the h5p items can't be seen, it's impossible to download them.

Is there a way to bulk export/import all my 356 h5p items?  

Please, urgent help

Can you please attach a screenshot of the browser console (ctrl+shift+J or F12).
