Wordpress - adding new -> Loading, please wait...

Dear,

I have installed H5P on my Wordpress site. I was able to get new content types. However, when I want to use them, the message: Loading, please wait... appears. It doesn't disappear and I am unable to continue doing anything. It is a fresh Wordpress site so there are no other plugins installed and I am hosting my site on one.com. I have tried it in different browsers and the problem remains.

Can you help me?

Thanks a lot,

Sven

Hi Sven,

Can you please check the following:

  1. Any browser console errors
  2. Any PHP errors

Hi,

I have checked the browser console errors and can't find anything. Also, no PHP errors seem to show up, but maybe I am too noob to find out. Any other suggestions? I saw somebody else is also reporting problems with one.com

Hi Sven,

Unfortunately I have no way of checking if it's one.com that is causing this. You can also try increasing the maximum execution time in WP and see if it helps. The browser console does not really give us any clues regarding your issue.

Hi BV,

I had the same problem and one.com fixed it for me. But a new problem showed up.

I can now make content and edit it afterward, but it does not show when I click view. It also does not shows when I use the shortcode on a page.

I added a printscreen.

Any idea's on what the problem might be and how to solve it?

Hi Ellen,

Do you have any errors in the browser console?

I'm working within pressbook through the university I work for. I can get content to pull up but when I try to upload a png it tells me this isn't a supported file type, but I can't find what are supported file types.

Thanks!

If your file extension is .PNG then try to rename it to .png. Bug that is fixed but not yet released for the WordPress plugin and the Drupal plugin.
