Format not supported ...

Hey guys,

we have a problem with our WordPress plugin. We use the latest version of H5P and also the latest version of WordPress. All content types are updated too. When we want to upload a Video (mp4) the following message apperas: "Video format not supported." About a fee weeks ago there were no problemds with upolading videos.
Moreover I can't upload jpeg-Files (same message) and my workmate can't upload png-Files... But she can upload jpeg and I can upload png.

It is a bit confusing and especially annoying, because we can't create content ...

Best regards

Jana

Hi Jana,

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

In regards to the image files upload issue this might be related to this thread. To summarize it there is an issue with uploading files with file extensions in upper case, changing it to lower case should resolve it.

Thank you for the hint regarding php-errors - that was the problem. Now we have the latest php-Version and it works!
