Drupal 8 and H5P Hub

Hi All:

I'm a noob at Drupal and want to set up the H5P hub on a Drupal Site. I have the site and Drupal 8 installed. Installed H5P modules successfully. H5P shows up in configuration however in content>add content there is no place to add the H5P hub. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom,

Currently Drupal 7 is the latest version that has a stable H5P version. What you may have installed is the H5P version that is still in the development stage. I suggest that you instead use Drupal 7 and download the latest version of H5P. Here's the documentation for installing H5P in Drupal 7.

Hi BV52:

Thanks: I discovered that later in the day and installed a Drupal 7 site and got it working. Not sure if it helps but on 8 the content for H5P did not show. It does show its installed and I could access preferences and settings.  Thanks for your comment and help.

Hi Tom,

That's great! Although I'm still puzzled how you where able to install H5P in Drupal 8 because I can't at all :-) . Anyway that's a totally different story, enjoy creating your contents.

What a wonderful tool H5P is!
However I have a problem; after having created some content, it's gone when I click "save and keep published".
Are there any setting or additional module/PHP option or something missing?

Hi Jensen:

I assume you are working on a Drupal 8 system. To my knowledge, the H5P module is not configured completely. I believe there is some documentation on adding the needed fields and modules.  On Drupal 7 the module works well.

Seems like this occur only when using Safari browser, the issue don't appear when using eg Chrome

Hi Jensen,

thank you for taking the time to report this. I've not been able to reproduce this on my end with Safari. Could share a bit more information about your setup? Which version of Safari are you using?

Hi Tom, the documentation has been updated since this was originally posted. Have a look at it over here:

It should answer your questions if you follow the steps.
