Status update: What content types are most popular?

A funny thing with open source is that we know very little about how it is being used or who uses it. Luckily, we do have H5P.com where there are thousands of organizations and millions of teachers using H5P so we can learn a bit from there.

Personally I am very happy to see the increased usage of Interactive Book and Column. They are the "new" ways to build larger H5P content. With significant upcoming improvements I hope they will be the go-to for accessible, responsive, larger H5P content. Course Presentation will be focused on presentations and active surface content going forward.

Not surprisingly, when we include sub-content the most generic building blocks (text, video and images) make it to the top of the list.

Hopefully you found this data interesting. Maybe there are some of the top 20 content types that you or your organisation should try out more? And we will keep improving them and adding more :)
