Problems creating a multi-hotspot image.

Dear all,

I'm having a problem making a 'find multiple hotspots' piece of content, and was wondering if anybody else has had the same problem?

Basically, I have downloaded an image of the World, on which I would like my students to click on specififed countries. However, when I complete this, the hotspots don't seem to work at all. Would anyone know why this might be? Could it be to do with the image I have downloaded?

Thanks,

Owen

Hi Owen,

Welcome to H5P!

I don't believe it is the image that you uploaded. I checked the content that you created and correct me if I'm wrong the title is "Countries 3". The settings that needs a bit of tweaking for this work. You have to place a check on the option "Correct" and "Number of hotspots..." option should not exceed the number of hotspots created for the activity. You can check my sample here and feel free to download and use it as a template.

Much appreciated

Dear BV52,

I'm sorry to be a pain! I am having another problem creating hotspots!

My content 'Lesson 1 - World Map' won't allow me to expand the size of the hotspots I am creating.

Do you know where I might be going wrong? Thanks for listening!

Owen

Hi Owen,

I'm unable to reproduce the issue on my end. I downloaded your content and I was able to expand the size of the hotspot. Click here to check the edited version.

May I know what browser are you using? Also are you editing this using a computer or mobile device (OS will be helpful as well)?

I'm editing the content in Chrome of a Mac laptop.

Hi BV52,

Thanks so much for looking at this again. I looked at your edited version, which works great.

I've been using chrome, which as worked great for using thinkific thus far. I'm  using a Microsoft surface pro 4. It's strange because I had been able to enlrage hotspots at will last week. I will give it another try tomorrow, maybe chane to internet explorer?

I will let you know how I get on.

Your help and time is much appreciated BV52!

Can't thank you enough

Owen

You're welcome Owen.

Now that you mentioned this, my theory is that this could be a browser issue. The browser may have updated in the past few days which could have caused the problem.

Thanks BV52!

I have tried again this morning using internet explorer, which seems to work!

Thanks again for all your help!
