Score in interaktive video not transferred to moodle
Hi!
I'm quite new here and didn't find any help, so I'll just ask.
I created an interaktiv video inside my moodle. (In fact, I created more than one.) I don't know, what went wrong, but all the marks in the timeline of the video appear blank. In other videos, I created, they are filled. Which is my first question - what is the difference between filled and not filled marks? (I uploaded two screenshots you can see below.)
Second: The video works fine, it stopps at the right time, the questions appear, they can be checked - but some students don't get the record written in their gradebook. Why?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Foorbie!
I may be wrong, but I think the unfilled marks are a new feature that was introduced with the latest update. They indicate that the activity has not yet been completed. If I am correct, your older videos will behave the same way as soon as you update the older older libraries in the library settings. For instance you may have the latest version which is 1.17 and the previous version 1.16. The latter should have an arrow symbol that you can use to update to later versions.
Greetings from the "neighborhood"

Update works
Thanks a lot, that explains much. I updated and everything is fine. Very thoughtful, indeed.
I tried to be a good student with my testaccount and well, I got the grades for the video. For now, I'll have to wait if the students report other bugs concerning this.
Other question - I have unchecked the feature "Loop the video" - however it loops. Why?

Hi Foorbie,
The issue with "Looping Video" has been reported and you can follow it here. Just to be sure that we are on the same page the video is embeded from Youtube and not uploaded as a file?

loop issue
Ah, thanks. Yes, it's youtube.
By the way, is there any way to chance the video source without loosing the interaktions? For if there were, I would just upload the file and cut the Youtube link. That would help me in other ways, too, because I learned that's illegal in Germany (Hamburg) to force pupil watch Youtube videos, exspecially from your own channel, because it's generating clicks and therefore you could make money out of your power as teacher. And additionally it's not safe in cases of data security - you shouldn't force your students to leave digital tracks... But if you use your videos on the school owned platform (moodle), it's totally ok to force them. So to be legally safe, I have to uplaod the videos on the platform. Of course I'd like to, but I don't want to recreate all the interaktions. Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot for all your help!

Hi Foorbie,I just tested this
Hi Foorbie,
I just tested this and I was able to keep the interactions. Although this is by design I would still suggest that you back up the content prior to removing the Youtube link and uploading the video. This way there is no chance of loosing the interactions in the content :-)
