Grading versus Show Solution

Hi!

I'm about to launch a course but have a major problem with my Moodle/H5P. Actually, we are collapsed here.

Context: It is a graded course (passing grade 50%) that should probably have a "Show solutions" button by the end of each exercise to help students get what they did wrong.

What I've noticed, though, is that grades are not being registered unless I make a "summary slide" available. That wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact the it is not editable and has two main buttons: "Show Solutions" (for all exercises) and "Retry" (infinitally). And it gets worse, students are able to click on the "Show Solutions" button before answering any questions. Hence, my two questions are:

1. Is it possible to edit the "Summary slide" to exclude these two buttons?

2. Is it possible to register our marks without using this summary slide?

Hi NiMo,

I believe the Course Presentation tool is more of a test your self type of tool and is not really meant for assessment, i.e. it's meant to behave the way you're describing. If you believe this should be changed or if you wish to add more options I urge you to create a well-formed feature request.

Alternatively, you could test out the Active Surface Mode and see if that offers what you're after.
