Course Creation
Hi,
Thank You for the prompt response.
Supposedly, I want to create one course called "Mathematics" which will have different sections called "Geometry", "Arithmetic", "Trigonometry" and so on. Again these sections will have one or more chapters called "Chapter1", "Chapter2" and so on. These chapters will have one or more contents like Course Presentation, Quiz, Accordin, Presentation, PDFs, Documents and so on. User should move to Chapter 2 only if he has cleared chapter 1 else not. Is there any way to do via H5P?
Let me know still in case I am not able to explain my question in precise.
Thanks,
Vaidehi Smart

Hi Vaidehi,
Thank you for clarifying this.
What you described is not possible but there is branching scenario content that we are working on that should function as what you described. You can read more about this here.

Thank you for the update.
Can I ask you the tentative date about when this "Branching" feature will get released?
Also, can you suggest me some other alternative which will work based on requirement?
Thanks,

A LMS (Learning Management
A LMS (Learning Management System) like Moodle is specifically designed for this. You can hide sections depending on freely definable conditions, like the completion of ther material. So I think it would definitely be a good idea to look for this functionality at this level and see H5P as content you put into a course in a LMS.
I've been working with Moodle and H5P quite a lot and the only problem I see is that the way H5P hooks into Moodle's completion tracking is not optimal. For an activity to be marked as completed, you can only specify that a "Student must receive a grade to complete this activity" and not the expected score. It might be possible to work around this with the scores stored in the grade book, though.

Sebastian is right. It is not
Sebastian is right. It is not the goal for H5P to replace learning management systems and their sophisticated features for designing course structures, managing users, etc.
Having said this, on paper you could use Branching Scenario to build a complete one-participant-course-ish thingy at least (I'll let academics in education theory argue if that's a course) ... Unfortunately, wa cannot give a good estimate right now.
