Course Presentation Continuous text

Hi,

I created a demo course presentation text and noticed a content type I have not seen anywhere else before, not even as a stand-alone.

The option of Continuous Text (T%T) baffles me at present. It does not appear to have a scroll bar and there is already another drag and drop text input box, so...

  1. How exactly does this one differ?, and
  2. how is it supposed to be used?

Kr,

Chris

The Continuous Text is essential multiple elements that you can place on different slides but they all share the same text input field. This means that you can paste a long article(or similar) into the text field and then distribute it over multiple elements or slides by placing/adding elements. This saves you the time and effort it takes to carefully cut and paste an existing longer text into multiple text fields manually.

I see how it can be confusing at first, but try it with a longer text and you'll probably understand quite quickly.

Thanks ICC. I understood at last !

In fact, for example,  if we have a large text to post,  we can use this tool (continuous text) for the first slide. Then we'll see the first part of the text shown on a square which size is adapted to the slide zone. To make appear the rest of the text, we have to create a new slide and clic again in this tool, and so on until the text is completely copied en several slides !

Oufff. Difficult to understand, but it's a nice feature ! Thanks.
