adding audio to course presentation slides

Hey there. I'm looking at options for adding audio to slides in course presentations, and wondering if anyone has some guidance. I've got some size constraints, so uploading files isn't sustainable. I'm wondering what solutions people are using for hosting audio. I was hoping I could put them up in Dropbox and link to those, but it doesn't play the audio.

Hi Kyle,

The only workaround I can think of is to convert the the file to MP4 upload it Youtube and use video in CP.

Any other suggestions from the community is very much appreciated :-)

Hi,

I am trying to create a course ppt and trying to add an audio in one of the slides. I tried to upload a youtube link, but it says the "Browser doesn't support this audio.

 

Am I doing it wrong as YT link was a video? Please help!!! Thanks in advance.

Hi Rahul,

This is not possible since the audio content is designed to play an audio file or a link to an audio file, it cannot play the audio of a video file.
