What the difference between a Text and a Continuous Text?

What the difference between a Text and a Continuous Text? I tried to create both elements in a Course Presentation, but I don't see any difference between the two at all.

Please advise.

Hi nijelratonel,

Text is designed to handle text that will fit in one slide. If the text will not fit in one slide you can use continuous text instead. All you have to do is fill the text box with your text, add a new slide and add contiuous text in that slide. This will automatically add the text that did not fit on the prior slide. But if you need to have the text in one slide with the slide bar you can use table. Just delete the default text before you add your own.

BV52 I like the idea of continuous text to save you time etc, however when you paste a whole lot of text it is very frustrated to find half the html editor function have disappeared, compared to a normal text box content type. You cannot colour text or do bullets etc. This kind of defeates the purpose of the quick function. Now I have to go back and add text per page just to format the text to look more desirable. Are there any plans to bring the full text editor to continous text

Hi Scott,

As far as I know there are no plans to make improvements to continous text in the coming months. However you can post a feature request for this.
