Agamotto Image Blend in Moodle - Intermittent

Hello everyone,

I havn't used this a great deal so there might be something I am doing wrong. When loading, and it seems this happens on mobile devices more, the images do not appear. It seems to happen more if someone is viewing it for the first time that made me think it may be something to do with image cache but after reducing the image size to something very small it still happened. 

Can anyone offer any advice on fixing this. It is such a great tool, I am using it to animate graphs but everyone I show it to someone for the first time the images don't load, just a blank screen.

This is embedded in Moodle and happens regardless of the browser used.

I am unable to reproduce the issue you described above. Do you have a sample page that we can check?

Thank you for looking. I have tried it here and have found it works fine. It's really hard to show as it is on our Moodle site and I can't even screen cast as this seems to be intermittent and normal happens the first time it is used on someones else's machine. This is why I thought it might be a cache issue, although clearing the cache dosn't work one way or the other. I guess I just wanted to see if there was any insider info on how the images are handled that might explain this and if it was something I had done incorrect in the creation. Its about 16 images at 50Kb each. It just show the "download and Embed" strip and nothing else.

Hi dmartin,

I would suggest a few things to try and isolate the issue. Try different mobile devices. Use different connections. If you get some consistent tests I would suggest that you disable other plugins and test it again. Incognito mode would be a way of testing this.
