Chrome download issue

Version: Plugin version 1.12.0

Platform: Wordpress 5.1

Browser: Chrome 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit) & Chrome 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Content types: ALL

Tested on 2 different instances of chrome. No issues in IE11. When a user selects "Download" under the content they are greeted with the screenshot attached.

Our installation is behind a firewall and this issue may have been cause from upgrading the plugin version. If possible can you provide a recommended approach for upgrading the plugin?

Currently we upgrade in the following way:

  1. Backup old plugin
  2. Upload newest version of plugin
  3. Deactivate old plugin on the server
  4. Activate new plugin

Hi Reg!

I am not sure why the IE wouldn't complain, but this rather looks like your server's MIME type settings have been changed. Please have a look at https://h5p.org/comment/19705#comment-19705 to check if I am correct.

Cheers,

Oliver

Good day Oliver

Thanks that was exactly the issue. IE is downloading the packages as .zip where chrome downloads as .h5p. Not sure if that is why IE wasn't complaining?

Either way all is fixed. Appreciate the help!
