memory game faults

Bugs in content types

Hello here

i've tried the memory game for the first time with some pictures from fruits for my first class pupils. But i was a little bit disappointed, to see, that where multiple pairs of the same pictures, as you can see here: http://lingopedia.de/obstmemory/ . So it will be not motivating for my first graders try to solve this game. Maybe there is a solution for that?

Hi nemo42,

I checked the your content, you created 2 sets of cards for each image. In creating a memory game content one image goes into one card and the it automatically creates a duplicate once you save it. So if you have 5 images you just need to create 5 cards and once you save it you will have 10 cards on the board. I have fixed your content and you can download it here.

Ah fine thanks to you and your fast answer I had'nt know nothing about the automatism of duplicating the cards and so I will go further with h5p

I copied a previous memory card game and am just wanting to switch the images (I have already changed the descriptions). But I can't get it to allow me to upload the new images. It keeps telling me that the file type isn't allowed. The image is a PNG file, 146 x146 (or slight variations of that shape), and ranging in size from 1.78 KB to 3.75 KB. So it seems to fit the requirements. Do you have any suggestions?

Your issue looks like it is related to this thread. If it is not the same issue I suggest that you post the question in the Bug in Content Types forum and follow the suggested template.

Hello!!!! First of all, thank you for giving us the opportunity to try this. It is awesome!!!! I could not thank you enough!!! Secondly, I would like to know how cards are duplicated automatically in the memory game. I have just read that someone could do it and I was amazed to read that since I always upload them twice.

Hi Emilia,

You don't need to upload 2 copies of one image, this content type does that for you automatically.
