Hi

I tried for the the first time to create Multiple Choice questions with H5P, i used -as it's suggested- the formulas Latex, that's the result :

Please, how can i fix it?

Hi!

Did you really follow the instructions? Did you possibly forget to add delimiters that tell a sytem that you want to use some LaTeX code?

Hi oliver , i downloaded the H5P library but i don't know how to upload it on H5p.org... do you have any video that explain it please?  As for the delimiters, i don't know such thing, that explains probably the result...please how can i add this delimiter in order to use the latex code?   A big thank-you

Hi!

You don't have to upload anything to H5P.org (but keep in mind that it intended for testing, not for hosting your content - and you'll have to upload the library on your own system).

From the page you just visited:

Usage

Mathematical expressions can be added to all text fields in the H5P authoring tool. There are three different ways you can use to let H5P know this is LaTeX:

 

  • \( some LaTeX \) for inline LaTeX, commonly used as part of sentences within a text
  • \[ some LaTeX \] or optionally $$ some LaTeX $$ for block LaTeX, commonly used as a standalone formula that will be centered

All you have to do is enclose you LaTeX with the start and end delimiter that fits your needs - otherwise there's no way H5P will know what's intended to be displayed as LaTeX.

Hi oliver, thanks, you've been very helpful. I didn't use the delimiters well indeed, now it works as you can see > https://www.zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=20/18/cj70.jpg . You said that i should upload the library on my system, the problem is that i don't know how, i read the page you mentionned and i don't know anything about drupal, wordpress...i m not a developer, i don't own any website. I made some multiple choice questions with H5P, and just want to share it with my group on Microsoft teams, but i didn't succeed. Please, do you have an idea how to upload the library on Microsoft teams? I'm very thankful for all your help Oliver.

Hi!

I'm not sure why so many people think "setting up WordPress" requires a developer. It's really not complicated, there are dozens of tutorials and tutorial videos on the web, and I know lots of people who are not within the IT sector who chose a web hoster and set up their own website.

Microsoft Teams does not feature H5P support and I doubt that they will any time soon. To the best of my knowledge, it's not even possible to use common iframes to embed H5P into a Teams site from another site.

Hello oliver,  ok, i will try with wordpress, after all we can learn anything if we are motivated. As for Microsoft teams, i found a way to embed the multiple choice questions the i made with H5P into teams as you can see in this picture I used the application website in microsoft teams and added the H5P link. Thank you very much for your help.
