Branching Scenario Full-screen - YouTube Vs Vimeo/HTML5

Details:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce: Use a Youtube URL (instead of uploaded mp4; instead of Vimeo URL)
  2. Platform and version number: Win10 using Chrome Version 88
  3. Mobile or Desktop: Chrome on Mobile works ; Chrome on Desktop does not
  4. Browser: Chrome
  5. H5P plugin version: Latest
  6. H5P content type and version: Branching Scenario - Latest
  7. Any browser console errors? No
  8. Any PHP errors: (unknown)
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem - Attached before and After

 

Summary: 

Branching Scenario: Pressing Full-screen works on Desktop Chrome/Edge/FF when using uploaded mp4 (HTML5 video player I think) and when using Vimeo. However, when using YouTube, pressing Full-screen will blank the screen.

Can you advise?

Hi digiandrew,

Would you mind checking if you will get the same issue using my test content.If you see the same issue I would assume that there is an issue with the device/computer you are using or the video uploaded. If not please provide the following:

  1. Platform and version number: Please note that this is not the OS but instead what CMS/LMS platform you are using to create contents. Moodle, Wordpress, Drupal, H5P.com, H5P.org, Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard are some examples.
  2. Sample URL
  3. H5P plugin version:
  4. H5P content type and version: 
  5. Any browser console errors?

I'm having the same issue.

Here's how it happen in the h5p.org site, branching scenario example:

Using WordPress H5P Plugin I have the same issue, but not with your exemple.

Here's the information you asked for:

    Yes. Image Attached.
    Here's the transcription:
    www-widgetapi.js:627 Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DOMWindow': The target origin provided ('https://www.youtube.com') does not match the recipient window's origin ('https://cnv.emrede.social').

In WordPress I triggered the issue by entering and leaving the full screen mode while the video was playing.
