Interactive video and grade book

Hi

Can any one help me to configure a auto completion of an interactive video with out posting its marks to grade book

Or is there any way to configure the auto completion of an interactive video with out enabling the grade related check points than the particiapnt has to view to complete the activity.

Hi jasimp,

I think it is possible (I'm assuming you are using Moodle), by setting the activity completion to "Require view" then make sure that you remove the submit screen in the Interactive Video so that no scores are sent to the Gradebook.

Hi BV52

The suggestion that you mention is working but, we are facing issue that students are jumping to next session with out watching the video

We want them to watch the entire video and participate the interaction with out passing the marks to grade book

Is there any possibility?

It will be best to add a tick box with each question to enable them to grade book or no

Hi jasimp,

I'm afraid this is not possible. Moodle as far as I now only has one option for completion that does not require a score which is to view the activity. The problem is that there is no way for Moodle to know if the student actually finished the video.

Oh sorry

I am little bit late

"The problem is that there is no way for Moodle to know if the student actually finished the video."    -  So there is no way to calculate the player time control same like interactive questons ?...once the player cursor reached the specific time point, that can confirm the course completed

Hi jasimp,

Actually once the student start playing the video Moodle already tags it as completed AFAIK.
