H5P in ILIAS

Hello Everyone,

we have h5p installated in our LMS ILIAS. Unfortonatly some content type (for example interactive videos) do not work. I am not able to update it either in the administration. I will add a Sceenshot on how the interactive videos are listet in the administration, I hope somebody has some advice. Iam also surprised that the interactive videos are listet twice (I wonder if that could be the problem?)

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The ILIAS H5P plugin was not created by the H5P core team. However members of the community may be able to assist you. You just need to include some additional information. Saying that "Unfortonatly some content type (for example interactive videos) do not work" without any explanation on what is actually happening does not help us determine the cause nor the resolution to the issue. Additionally based from how the Moodle, Wordpress and Drupal plugins work it is "normal" to have multiple versions of a content type libraries. The reason behind this is that whenever you update a content type only new contents created or once you edit an old content will it use the new libraries.

Additonally I would suggest that you provide the the followng:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hi!

The company Studer&Raimann in Switzerland is behind the H5P integration for ILIAS. I assume it's best to report the bug on their bug tracker as suggested in the code repository.

Best,
