multiple choice - Tips and feedback
Hi,
I'am not sure if it is a bug. But for me it is.
1. The situation is when i create a question with multiple choice in a board game or a question set. When i create a question i want to give my student, when selecting the right answer, some extra feedback (information). So i do this with the Tips and Feedback option in the settings of the Quiz.
I select Chosen feedback and write here what i want the student to see. To be clear i don't fill in the tip text or the not chosen feedback.
When i test the Quiz the user can see a small cloud or speech bubble beside the correct answer. This will give away the correct answer. I understand it will normally just show a tip. But i didn't fill in the tip text only the chosen feedback.
2. Ideally i would like to see for my students directly if the answer is correct or not. My idea is that there will be a optional pop-up which tell if the answer correct or not and if needed gives extra information (feedback). I made a small example in one of the attachements. :)
Greetings,
Mitchz

Hi!Thank you for the feedback
Hi!
Thank you for the feedback! Do you have a link to a MultiChoice that has the problem described in #1? I created a multichoice now, and the feedback didn't display until the user checked the answer.

I will try later today to create a page for you to acces. But the problem is not that the feedback is displayed until the user checked the answer. The feedback is in fact hidden. But the problem is that the icon of the speech bubble or cloud can show my students that the answer must be the one with that icon because its the only answer with it. I hope i explained it better now. In the attachment i put a red square around the icon/symbol which i mean.

Nothing it opens a small
Nothing it opens a small empty space beneath the answer. See attachment.
In this way it is too easy to see the correct answer. Because it is the only answer with the icon. I think it is normally for placing the tip text. Which i didn't fill in. :)

Hi Mitchz
I was not able to access your test page, however I suspect this is an issue concerning whitespaces/linebreaks inside the feedback text.
This has been fixed at github, and will be added to the next H5P release.

Adding Images to Tips and Feedback
Hi everyone,
Really enjoying this tool. Is it possible to add an image to the "Tips and Feedback" instead of text? I can think of multiple use scenarios for this both in terms of pedagogy and gamification.
Many thanks

Hi Andrew,
This is a wonderful idea. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:
It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type
Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.
