The submit answer screen does not automatically pop up

In the H5P drag and drop exercise, usually a screen of "Submit Answer" automatically pop up. However, recently, it is found that such screen does not pop up automatically after the completion of exercise. Any way to solve?

Hi joecuhk,

Drag and Drop never had a "Submit Answer" pop up. This content type generates the score once the user clicks on the "check" button.

He probably meant the "check"-Button. I noticed this problem myself. When I tried to create new h5p content using the "Drag and Drop"-function in January 2024 there where some changes noticable compared to 2023: 1) the check button doesn't exist anymore 2) it is now obligatory to add custom feedback with score range consisting of 10 rows which are not deletable 3) it is possible now to add words which are not meant to be used as answers for distraction While the third change is nice, the first two seem to be bugged/probably not wanted. Without the check button, the errors are not transparent. Contents created before these changes (December 2023 an before) still work as they used to. Only new generated ones are affected.

I noticed the problem myself, too. The check-button does not exist anymore.
Generating content via Drag and Drop now requires to add custom feedback consisting of 10 rows which cannot be deleted. When solving the exercise there is no possibility now to check for the errors. Only in the summary it can be seen how many points where achieved. It feels like an unwanted change/bug. Content generated in December 2023 and before is not affected and still works fine.

Hi Sindbad,

I just need to be clear are we talking about Drag and Drop or Drag the Words?

The original poster is obviously talking about the Drag the Words content. And probably they accidentaly checked the "Instant feedback" option in the Behavioral settings, which indeed results in the Check button not being displayed !!!

Hi Papi Jo,

That is what I think as well but I do not want to assume and make the wrong diagnosis. Anyway, thanks for the input as I agree that this could be what is causing the issue.
