"Save content state option" won't save "Answered" state

I've enabled "Save content state option" but I think I might be misusing it

Is there a way to show previous answers only (right or wrong)  without enabling the check button? I'm trying just to show a review of what the student has done (it's not repeatable).

When I answer a question  (Fig1)  and reload it loses the "Answered" state (fig2)

This is not an issue with Crossword. That content type simply follows the standard behavior that H5P Group set for all their content types which do not re-create the state completely - don't know why this approach was chosen though.

It's possible to change that, but at the expense of letting different H5P content types behave differently.
