Crosswords clues don't appear

Hello, one of my students can't see all the clues on the crossword puzzles. In this example, only 5 'across' clues appear to the right of the grid. The student uses safari on a mac. The content is created on Wordpress but embedded in another platform that places the exercises inside a column. Is there a possible solution?

Hi!

The clues are there and just fine. It's just that Safari thinks it is smart to prioritize fashion over functionality and hides the scrollbar of the container. You should, for instance, be able to scroll just fine when using your mouse's scroll wheel over the clues.

I now added a workaround that adds a custom scrollbar no matter what even though it does not necessarily look like Safari's scrollbar does. You can install version 0.6.5 from https://www.olivertacke.de/labs/2020/11/19/some-things-take-time-h5p-crossword/ or wait until H5P Group updates their version on the H5P Hub. BV, could you please create a ticket?

Hi BV and Oliver,

Thank you for the help and detailed reply! I've uploaded the exercise to WordPress, and I received a message saying the crossword was successfully updated (added 1 H5P library and updated 2 old ones). Does this mean the old crossword exercises now have a scrollbar in Safari? Unfortunately, I can't test it myself.

Hi Sara!

In theory: Yes. I am just not sure what library was added as I'd have assumed updates only. You should check the H5P library settings page (one of the H5P menu items of the H5P plugin) for contents that could be upgraded, please compare https://snordian.de/2024/10/30/why-should-i-upgrade-existing-h5p-content-and-how/
