Populate Timeline from spreadsheet/CSV

The original Timeline.js project uses a spreadsheet to host all of the data required to populate the timeline. The H5P version improves on the Knight Labs version by creating a standalone timeline that can be hosted within one's own H5P instance, and hence will not be subject to Timeline.js closing down, changing servers, etc.

One problem with the H5P version is that it is so slow and cumbersome to populate bit by bit. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to pre-populate a spreadsheet with details that can then be used to automatically populate my H5P timeline (e.g. by uploading the resulting CSV). This would incorporate the best bits from both worlds!

Supporter votes Members of the Supporter Network can vote for feature requests. When the supporter network has generated sufficient funding for the top voted feature request it will normally be implemented and released. More about the H5P Supporter Network

Hi TeaKayB,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! With the H5P supporter program the H5P community can now vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then work on a feature they find interesting or useful. You can also help by developing or help (crowd) fund the development of this feature.

Also please be advised that the Timeline content type is the first version that Knightlabs has created.
