Audio problem in every H5P content in Moodle 3.10 version

Hello, I have my remote teaching courses starting in two weeks and I am facing a problem in the audios of almost every H5P content that I have created.

The audio files were fine in May when I had the first teaching course for which I created lot of H5P content that has audio in it.

I noticed now that our Moodle has had an update in 30.6.2021.  I use Chrome.

I have tried to upload audios again in the already created H5P content and also creating the same content in new H5P: audio works on the first page but from the second page it cannot be played.

H5P was revolutionary for me to let the students to hear the Japanese words they are studying because audio could be added, and I want to know how to fix the problem audios not working (is it a H5P problem or Moodle problem)

I have no error messages in the H5P contents where the audio wont work, simply the audio wont start and it shows only a white play button.

I upload here the H5P content for studying the months and days in Japanese, which has audio working with first page but not from the second.

Thank you for helping, hoping this can be fixed!

Hi sussel,

Firstly a few tips and observations:

  1. The latest Moodle version is 3.11.2. I'm not sure what version you are actually using. There is a version 3.6.10 perhaps this is the version you are using.
  2. The screenshot that you provided is different from the sample content that you uploaded. This makes it difficult to find the issue.

With regards to your concern, I tested your content and I was able to play all the audio contents. Having said this I suggest that you provide the following:

  1. Platform and version number.  Moodle Version?
  2. Mobile or Desktop
  3. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and version
  4. H5P plugin version
  5. H5P content type and version and a sample URL (it is possible that the issue is only present in your site)
  6. Any browser console errors (Usually accessed by pressing F12 in the keyboard)
  7. Any PHP errors
  8. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!
