Branching Scenarios are not tracking in LearnPress LMS

Hi Jack!

I am not entirely sure that this is an issue with Branching Scenario. Branching Scenario emits a perfectly normal "completed" xAPI statement when the user reaches an end node. I don't know how LearnPress integrates the xAPI statements sent by H5P (curse of closed source software), but have you made sure that the problem is not caused by the LearnPress add-on?

Best,
Oliver

Good Evening!

Thank you for your reply! My apologies for this reply being so late, I have been attempting to track down an answer before responding to you. I do not know what to make of LearnPress's H5P Integration. They told me a week ago that they had someone looking into it and have not gotten back to me. The fact that an xAPI statement is being generared by the content really should make things simple for the LMS.

Since you worded your comment about a closed LMS in that way, is there a better/open source LMS to build a learning website upon that is more H5P friendly?

Thank you for your response once again,

Jack

Hi Jack!

I was referring to the source code of the (LearnPress H5P integration) not being publicly available. That doesn't say anything about the quality of the product per se. I don't know all those LMS plugins for WordPress, so I won't judge. BUT, while open source software does not automatically feature better code or less bugs, you actually have the opportunity to spot issues in the code yourself (or let someone do that) even if you're not the main developer/publisher. That was my point.

Best,
Oliver

Howdy!

I hope this doesn't double post. Thank you for your reply! I'm sorry that this is so late of a response back to you, but I was waiting to hear back from LearnPress who said that they had someone looking into it. The fact that the xAPI statement is similar to the rest of the content that IS working on our site would suggest something on LearnPress's end.

Since you worded your comment that way, is there a better or more open source LMS that is more friendly to H5P and easy to use like LearnPress?

Thank you again for your patience and response,

Jack
