Drag and Drop text area minimum height is 24

I need to lower the hight of the text area of drag and drop questions.

Current minimum hight is 24 but I need it to be 12 or 10. It accepts any values below 24 but revert to 24 when saved. Discriptive image is attached.

Editing this post after more testing.

Found 24 text area hight is good when drag and drop question created directly. Text area showing double hight when same question is created with same setting - image size etc - under Quiz. Pleas see the attached 2nd image.

(Version: 2.0.0-alpha2, Drupal 9.3)

Appriciate your help.

I've tested this on my local install with Drupal 9.4 and h5p Version: 2.0.0-alpha2 and I do not see the problem you are reporting. The draggable text elements keep their initial 24px height, as well in the standalone H5P Drag & Drop activity as when included inside a Quiz (H5P Question Set) activity.

Could you please attach your H5P specimen file to your reply?

Hi papi Jo,

I think you may have misunderstood the OP's question. When the OP sets the elements to something smaller than 24px it reverts back to 24px. Now as far as I know this is the smallest the elements in Drag and Drop can go.

No, BV, I have not misunderstood the OP's question. That question is in 2 parts:

In the first part, the OP states that it is impossible to set the vertical size of a text draggable element to be less than 24 pixels. That is true, and I have not anything to add.

In the second part of his question, the OP explains that he needs to set that size to half the minimum size, i.e. 12 px, because when a D & D content is inserted inside a Quiz (Question Set) content, then the draggable text element gets displayed with double the minimum vertical size, as shown on his attached 2nd screenshot.

In my answer I say that I have tested this on the same environment as the OP's and that I do not see the problem he mentions.

If the OP would kindly attach his H5P file to his answer, then we could test it. Or give us an accesss to his site where we could directly visualize the problem.

Hi BV52,

that's why this forum exists, so that people can complement each other.

greetings

Not sure what speciman file means but I have attached 2 DD questions that I created (1). under quiz and (2). "drag and drop. Sorry I don't have web presence yet to give you access.

I will brief the issue again.

I created identical text area one under quiz and onother under "drag and drop"

When viewing, "drag and drop" renders X hight but " quiz" renders 2X hight.

Suprisingly if I copy and paste "drag and drop" text area to " quiz" text area, It works fine. ie, renders at X hight and solve my problem.

I still fail to understand your problem. I have downloaded your dd-under-quiz.h5p file and the "text under quiz" draggable text element appears indeed as x2 height. But, if I edit that file, I can see that the height is set to 53 pixels (not 24), which explains the "double height".

So, again, all is working as expected. If you continue to experience that "problem", then it will be difficult to pinpoint the cause.

Note.- You say you don't have Web presence; does this mean you are actually creating your H5P activities on a local Drupal site? Are you sure all of your H5P libraries are up to date?
