Rating or poll content type

I would love to see a better Rating Content type!

Where a viewer or student can give quick and easy feedback to the creator or teacher if their content is good or bad?

Present a text or image and let them give a 1-5 star rating, or thumbs up/down/emoji (not word or emoji cloud).

Let this content type for poll or rating be available for other content types as "The Chase" or "Interactive video".

Example:

  • In "The Chase" a question could be to rate an image from 1-10?
  • "Rate these destinations from best to worst for the class trip?"
  • in "Interactive video" a lecturer ask a question like "do you agree" at some point in the video. In H5P you can add a pause and have this rating/poll content type let the student answer with an 1-5 stars rating or an emoji before they continue the video.

This is really helpful feedback for a teacher to improve. And by improving you also mature as a teacher. This ultimately reflects on the students.

Hi PolkaFever,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! There are developers in the community who every now and then work on a feature they find interesting or useful. You can also help by developing or help (crowd) fund the development of this feature.

Additionally there is a way to achieve the "in "Interactive video" a lecturer ask a question like...". To do this you can insert a Multiple Choice question with all the answers as correct and you set the behavioural settings as follows:

  1. Enable 'Give one point for the whole task'
  2. Pass Percentage is set to 0.
