Suddenly interactive video isn't working in Chrome

hetoame's picture

Everything was fine... and then suddenly none of my interactive video from H5P is working in Chrome. It's telling me that my browser doesn't support H.264 video codec... why is this happening now? Can I fix it?

Edited to add: seems to happening only on my Windows 10 machine. Chrome on my phone and on another machine (running WIN7) are ok. I can't figure out what to do to enable this browser...

I was able to fix my problem by doing a reset on my browser (Chrome)

Hi, I'm having a similar issue, I go to add new content type, select interactive video and it just hangs "loading please wait..." I'm using WP - we haven't updated to WordPress 4.9.4 yet (we have a large multisite installation).

1. can't think of any - I was replicating an error that occured to another user on a different browser - (chrome) and I'm on Firefox.

2. I'll post a video.

3. WP 4.9.3

4. Desktop

5. issue on Firefox and Chrome (haven't tested Safari)

6. Latest version

7. Interactive video - although icons are missing for other content types

8.9. can't see any php errors

10. attached.

When you choose a content type from H5P, it seems to copy a few bits into your sites upload folder. For some reason these files were missing from this site. I got the files from another sites upload folder and put them into this ones.

Hi dotsandspaces,

It's a bit odd that those files where miisng in the first place.  But the good thing is that it's already working and thank you for sharing the solution.
