Hello,

download and embed button default settings (mod_hvp | export & mod_hvp embed) should be "controlled by author, default is off" instead of "always show" It isn't good that students in Moodle can download every H5P file by default.

Hi Jarvil!

I think this depends on the setting and on your perspective. I personally am conviced that education should be as open as possible and "sharing" should be the default option. If you consider the power of defaults, then in my humble opinion it makes perfect sense the way it is.

Hello,

Ok but when I'm upgrading H5P-plugin in Moodle from version that doesn't have options

  • mod_hvp | export 
  • mod_hvp | embed


to a new version that has them and I

  1. Upgrade the plugin
  2. During the configuration phase in Moodle I set them "default off, controlled by author"
  3. Then what happens is that these are turned on on all existing H5P-acitivities that has been created before, is this a bug? Shoudn't the plugin respect the choice I make regarding existing H5P-activities?

If that is what happened, then it indeed sounds as if this was not supposed to happen. It was great if you added a bug report in the corresponding forum.
