Pictures opacity

Hello !

I started to work on the Moodle 3.5 H5P plugin version, and it seems there's a problem with pictures opacity. I tried to change the value of opacity, but it doesn't make a change ! The picture stays the same, backoffice or frontoffice.

Have I done something wrong ? Or maybe I didn't understood this functionnality : is it made to show the picture more transparent or not ?

Best regards,
Olivier VALENTIN

Sorry for all the information I forgot !

So, let's provide all this :

I'm working on Moodle 3.5+ (Build: 20180614). My plugin version is 2018053100. I checked on Moodle's plugin page, it's the very last one.
I'm using the presentation content. I insert a picture (png, jpeg... any type that works !), and in the settings window, I try to change the opacity, but there's no result : the picture stays the same.

The problem appears in every browsers I tried : Chrome, Firefox, Edge... There are no error messages on my screen or in Moodle in fact : the functionnality has just no result, even when I change the opacity value.

Hope this is a little more clear ! :)

Hi Olivier!

The "background opacity" is meant for text fields or quiz interactions, that usually have a white background and can be made (semi-)transparent this way. So, it's really the image's background, not the image itself that you're modifying. You can check that with a partly transparent image and varying the background opacity value.

However, it could also be possible to add an opacity option for images, too. Please create a feature request if you think this option could be useful for a large number of H5P users.

Cheers,
Oliver
