Not able to creat H5P content anymore

Hi there,

I regularly use H5P and everything was working fine, however, lately it seems, my new contents don't display at all. I can't edit or view them once created and if I add them into a post, the post just does not appear.

I have done last updates, could anyone help me with this?

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hi there,Thank you so much for your response. Please, I am giving you more information here:

  1. H5P allows me to choose the tipe of activity and create the activity. After creating the activity and pressing the botton create, I get on the screen: a grey screen with the following message: WordPress 5.0.2 is available! Please notify the site administrator.
  2. Platform is Wordpress.
  3. Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome.
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type: drag and drop (if a content type was used), and a sample URL (https://www.vamosblog.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=h5p&task=show&id=176) or attached H5P (I can´t because I can´t see the result)

So after creating the H5Ps I can´t see them (or edit them) and if I attached them into a post, I can´t visualize the post.

Could you help me with this?

Hi Ruth,

Can you please double check the following:

  1. Any browser console errors
  2. Any PHP errors

It's best to check on the screen after saving the content. These 2 usually gives us a better understanding of the issue.

Could it be incompatible with the wordpress version we have currently?

On the other hand, I am not sure about how I can check the error you are mentioning, should I contact the person who manages the site?

Hi Ruth,

The H5P plugin is compatible with your WP version.

You will would need to ask your administrator for assistance with the PHP errors but the browser logs can be retrieved by opening the browser console (Command + Option + J or Control + Shift + J in Chrome).

It does look like there's some other plugin crashing on your site that brings H5P with it.
