Save playback speed preferences in Moodle plugin

I am using the H5P plugin in Moodle to allow students to watch videos at 2x speed (something the main video player doesn't support.) However, students have complained that between each of the videos (many less than 10 minutes long) the playback speed resets, and they would like to have it permanently set to 1.5x speed for instance. Is there a way this can be achieved in the current plugin? If not, can this be made a new feature?

Hi robrobrobertson3,

I'm afraid this is not possible with the current features of the content but thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.
