GDPR and PECR regulations and the impact of setting cookies

Recent guidance published by the ICO (UK Information Commisioners Office) - https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-pecr/cookies-and-similar-technologies/ is having a massive impact on cookie consent. This includes cookies dropped on the site by third parties such as YouTube.

The solution I've seen for YouTube embeds is a embed cover plate that basically stop the iframe or script from loading until users give consent to that particular third party cookie. As H5P iFrame overlays and contains the YouTube iFrame does Joubel have any plans for solving this issue?
