I develop a lot of quizzes using the Moodle Quiz activity for technical badging purposes. We generally allow students to retake these online quizzes multiple times so I would love to be able to give them feedback on how they did in each topic area of the quiz without giving away individual questions. When I used to develop formal certification exams for publication on Pearson VUE or Prometric, we could let the students know how they scored topic by topic to help them know where to focus their studies. Any chance on getting a feature like this added to Moodle?

I would be okay with using the question bank categories, but it would be more flexible if the score report categories were established in the Quiz definition independent of the question bank.

An added bonus would be to define a minimum passing score for one or more quiz categories so you could force a student to do well in one (or more) critical area and not just on the quiz as a whole.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.
