Hi,

I am new to H5P and need help with creating a timeline and essay with feedback assets. However, I don't have access to create these assets. Your inputs will be helpful.

Hi TLL!

Here on h5p.org, you are only supposed to test the software before installing it on your own system. You can't try out all content types here, but Timeline and Essay will be available once you're running it on your own instance of WordPress, Drupal, moodle, etc.

That's how we used it until now..

You could, but then you are exploiting this site and that behavior led to fewer content types being available here already. It's not a secret that the H5P core team will deactivate the option to embed content from h5p.org into other sites if people keep on thinking this is a site for free hosting.

Hi Kabu,

Embed has not been removed but as Oliver has mentioned. To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) we are experimenting with which content types should be available here. We might have a different set of content types next week.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

I'm looking to edit this to create an essay with feedback. When I upload it to H5P.com, it says

Validating h5p package failed.

Missing required library H5P.Essay 1.2

Hi TLL,

Please make sure that you have Essay enabled in the content settings. This can be found in Manage Organization -> Settings -> Content Type Settings. If the issue is still unresolved I suggest that you send a mail directly to H5P.com support through [email protected].

Hello, a student worker created (we think) a free trial account for doing H5P work for our team. However, now we are not able to access the H5P links he has generated for the work he has completed. Here is an example of a link he has generated that doesn't work for us (it looks like it's created with a 't127' user ID, as opposed to 'hgsetll'): https://t127.h5p.com/content/1291491066427727137

I'm also attaching a screenshot of what I see when I click on the link.

Any idea if we can transfer this student's work from the t127 account to our hgsetll account? FYI, I have tried to contact this student a couple times but haven't heard back from him...

Thanks so much for your time. Looking forward to any thoughts.

Hi Michael,

The owner of the account needs to reach out to the H5P.com Customer Success Team by sending an email to [email protected] to ask for assisance in getting the account re-activated. Once this is done I would suggest that you download the contents and upload it to your paid license.

Please note that the Customer Success Team will not reactivate the account if the email address used to contact them is not the owner of the account.
