auto save at certain intervals

This is an idea/wish from a session that was held at OERcamp17 in Hamburg, Germany on June 24.

  • As a system administrator, I want to be able to (globally) activate an auto-save option (on a plugin level) in order to prevent the loss of data.
  • Optionally/additionally: As a content creator, I want to be able to (locally) activate an auto-save option in order to prevent the loss of data.

Hi,

The "Save content state" would do it for all content types. And it does a "auto-save" every few secons (not only when the user presses "Check").

Per content we don't have :) But it shouldn't be too difficult to put in, since the global one is there.
