Image Juxtaposition bug with rights of use

ASTN's picture

Hello, first I´d like to thank a lot for H5P!

Problem discription:

1. Windows10 | Moodle 3.8 | Firefox

2. After writing the metadata and rights of use  for the used images, there is a problem clicking on the Rights of Use button at the bottom.

Only after activation of the source code view (Firefox/ F12-key) the button shows licenses after several clicks. I am not able to close the info window by clicking on the X-button.

Didn´t find this problem in the forum. Hopefully You can help.

Sincerely
andi nickel

PS: If I like to  reuse an example from the H5P.org list to show other teachers the possibilities of H5P and translate it to german, is it suffice to place ´Joubel´ as author in the metadata and my name as ´editor´? There is no metadata saved in the H5P-example file, yet. Cheers

Hi Andi,

I am unable to reproduce this issue. Would you mind providing the following:

  1. Firefox version
  2. H5P version
  3. Image Juxtaposition version
  4. Error message in the browser console
  5. Test page that shows the issue.

For the other question adding Joubel as the author would be fine.

Thank You for Your fast reply - it was a conflict in the moodle config.php for the H5P-activities and only appeard in combination with firefox.

Hi Andi!

I am the author of Image Juxtaposition and cannot reproduce your issue, but then again, it's the H5P core that is creating those copyright views not the content types anyway (in most cases).

Your error description sounds as if there might be some resize issue - and Image Juxtaposition had a bug related to resizing, but that one has been fixed ages ago. So unless you're running a very dated version of Image Juxtaposition, it's probably not the culprit.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Oli, Thanks for the fast reply. I am really honoured. You´re all around here in H5P-context. And really useful H5P-type. I love it using in my art-classes.

Well, You´re right. I tested the file in my own moodle and voilá!... works like a charm (same Firefox and H5P Version) - so it´s something in the config.php in the moodle setup, where I don´t have any rights to edit, though.

So please say sorry and thanks to Juxtaposition from me ;)

PS: If I´d like to share the M51-galaxy example, shall I add You as author or joubel - there is nothing in its rights of use.

Hi Andi!

You're welcome.

I don't need to be credited - whenever I do add myself as an author, I choose CC0 anyway unless forced to do otherwise.

Best,

Oliver
